Financial Aid
Federal, state, and private sources of financial aid are available for all students who qualify.
The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) utilizes the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine eligibility for financial aid. The UIC FAFSA school code is 001776.
Once you submit your FAFSA application and any additional documents that may be requested, you will receive a Financial Aid award notification listing any aid you are eligible to receive.
The following major Financial Aid programs are available at UIC:
- Federal Direct Loan (subsidized and unsubsidized)
- Federal Pell Grant
- Federal Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students
- Graduate PLUS Loan
- Illinois Veterans Grant
- State of Illinois Monetary Assistance Program Grant (for Illinois residents)
In addition to the above financial aid programs, the UIC College of Nursing sponsors numerous scholarships based on financial need, academic achievement, and leadership. A complete list of these scholarships can be found on the UIC College of Nursing Web site.
