Suzanne Fahrenwald has been teaching undergraduate courses at UIC since 1996 in the area of pediatrics, health assessment and concepts of professional nursing. She has a clinical background that includes home health, pediatrics, and family practice outpatient care. As a certified instructor of the American Safety Health Institute, she has taught first-aid and childcare classes to pre-teens in her community.
Sue is currently a nurse coordinator for the UIC Family Clinic, a diagnostic clinic for children with developmental delay. She is a member of the Leadership in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) program and a quality improvement coordinator for a home health company in Chicago.
